Call for Papers: The 15th China Youth Economists Forum

The first China Youth Economists Forum was initiated in 2001. Since then, it has successfully become an important platform to bring together young scholars in China and worldwide to present research and to stimulate discussion on new development in economics. To encourage young economists to launch active research, the academic council of the forum is pleased to announce that the 15th China Youth Economists Forum on will be held from July 18th to 19th, 2015, at the Wang Yanan Institute for Studies in Economics (WISE) and the School of Economics at Xiamen University, China.
 
The organizers of the forum are the editorial department of the Economic Research Journal, Guanghua School of Management of Peking University, the Institute for Advanced Study of Wuhan University and the Wang Yanan Institute for Studies in Economics (WISE) and the School of Economics of Xiamen University. To enhance internationalization of the forum, there will be an English sessions (on which the papers are submitted, presented and discussed in English), and a session on Talent Cultivation and Exchange.
The forum encourages authors to submit papers using modern theories and methodologies to study problems in Chinese Economy, especially those arise along China’s development and reform and are of significant theoretical and practical value.
 
The topics may be in (but not limited to) the following areas: econometrics theory and application, macroeconomic theory and policy, microeconomic theory and application, finance theory and application, international economic theory and world economics, economic history and history of economic thoughts research, political economy and the research of economic development theory and policy with Chinese characteristics.
As a forum for young economists, the first author should be less than 45 years old (born after July 1st, 1970). The number of each paper’s co-authors should be no more than four, and there can only be one co-author over 45 years old. For paper format, please refer to the published papers on the Economic Research Journal. We recommend using Microsoft Word 2003 or older versions to edit on A4 size pages. JEL code should be noted. Authors’ contact information must be complete, clear and accurate.
